Meet the therapist

Change IS possible. Healing is for everyone.

Hi, my name is Hanna. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#53157) practicing out of Orange County in Southern California. My professional experience over the past twelve years includes county-contracted settings as a clinician and clinical supervisor, group private practice, and private practice with individuals and couples.

When you join with me on your journey to healing and growth, I bring my relationship-first approach to create a safe and supportive environment for you to catalyze your breakthroughs. By observing the pains and the wounds of your past and present we can begin to identify the relational and reactionary patterns that ensue when in conflict, stress or in continuing pain. These dynamics can keep one "stuck," and asking a lot of questions.

Together, we can discover hope, and start a healing journey to reframe your life's narrative. I welcome you to find out more and to know that you are not alone.

Personal

I was born in Seoul, Korea and immigrated to the States at age 7. I can understand the struggles and sacrifices of the first generation, and identify with the unique immigrant experience. I have lived in Southern California for most of my life, but had the opportunity to teach and live in Japan for 3 years, which is where I fell in love with all things Ghibli and really good sushi. I met my husband in 2008, and along this fulfilling journey, we adopted our son from Korea, who joined our forever family in 2015. I enjoy quality time with friends and family, swing dancing, yoga/Zumba, rainy weather, taking care of our 2 dogs, and traveling.
